One of the most common problem in a hospital setting is losing a pen. This is the reason why lots of it is needed. In addition, this is the very first thing that is used in the morning for the passing of important information from the previous shift.
4. Weather Notepad
Quick handy tool to take quick notes, and document any other important information
3. Stethoscope
Number 3 on my clinical item list because I do not use it as often as number 1 and number 2.
4. Pen light
An indicator that a patient might be having a stroke if the pupil is not reacting to the light
5. Pulse Oximeter
My favorite medical item of all time.
