Hello, Beautiful. Hiii, how are you?! I hope you"re happy and well! I am back with my foundation routine! This is not my daily foundation routine, that is far less involved. This is if you"re looking to achieve a flawless canvas and you"re prepared to slap on 37 layers of makeup! ahaha I kid, I kid. It"s not that crazy, but it"s more than a 2 step process!

As you will see, I struggle with acne. I hope that if you too, struggle with acne, you find this video helpful in some way! I know how difficult it is to interact with people when all you can think about is "are they just staring at my blemishes?!" Not wanting to go out with your friends, avoiding swimming pools- I UNDERSTAND. There are many times when my acne has literally thrown me into depression because I immediately feel ugly and judged by anyone that sees me. The truth is, you"re not alone, even if you feel like it. Seriously every single one of my friends has perfect skin, and never really deals with acne... like EVER. Yeah, sure... maybe the occasional break out once a month, but not the way I suffer a lot of the time. But that doesn"t mean I am struggling alone. When I uploaded my first foundation routine on my channel, I"ll link it in case you"re interested, I was TERRIFIED to show my bare skin on camera in front of thousands of people. My skin was in much worse condition at the time. I see so many "flawless foundation routine" videos... in the intro the girl is talking about "heyyy guys, this is how I get perfect looking skin...." then she starts putting on foundation... I"m liiiiiike, wait wut? She didn"t already have foundation on????!! And here I was with mountains on my face. I was sooo incredibly scared to show one of my biggest insecurities in such a public way. But that video was one the best decisions I have ever made. The amount of positive feedback I received was unreal, and definitely unexpected. I read every comment, just crying. I realized- I am not alone. My acne did not define me. People appreciated me for who I was, not the condition of my skin. Ever since that video, I have been able to leave my house without feeling obligated to cover my face with foundation first. I cannot even begin to express how liberating that is. It was so incredibly scary and challenging, but each time it became easier. I am still not comfortable with the condition of my skin, but I also do not feel like a prison to my skin. My point in sharing my story with you is to let you know, if you"re struggling with acne, regardless of the severity, remember- it does not define you. Your heart, your character define you. If you"re a beautiful human being, no one will notice your skin. Do not let your insecurities prevent you from living your life. xxoo
