Dandruff Treatment
By Dr Katty Go and Dr Willie Ong

1. Use an anti-dandruff shampoo in the market. You can use Nizoral shampoo.
2. Shampoo at least 2-3 times a week when the dandruff is active.
3. Let the anti-dandruff shampoo stay on your hair for 5 minutes before washing your hair.
4. For thick and scaly dandruff, you can apply mineral oil or baby oil to your hair. Then use a hair net to cover your hair for 30 minutes. This will soften the dandruff before you use your shampoo.
5. Rinse well.
Dandruff may be caused by seborrheic dermatitis, a hereditary disorder causing flaking of the skin of the scalp, face and ears.
