Dr. Chauhan talks about the importance of sleep and the causes for insomnia and its adverse effects on the human body.

Continuing from the previous video on insomnia, Dr. Chauhan first talks about the importance of sleep. He says that it is called the “diet for the mind”, and it also helps in the digestive process, balances our mood and builds our immunity. He then talks about the causes for insomnia, such as staying up late, constant stimulation in the form of computers, mobile phones etc. In addition, any type of pain can cause insomnia, as can mental stress and anxiety and consumption of caffeine. Dr. Chauhan subsequently talks about the symptoms and adverse effects of insomnia, including lack of concentration, poor memory, general weakness, high blood pressure, indigestion, low immunity power etc.
