Hello guys!
It"s 10 months in!
Lately I"m having some problems with dry scalp. It is a very common problem, so I decided to share my way of dealing with it.

Dry scalp usually gets worse in winter, because of hats and cold air, when immune system drops, if you dye your hair too much, and others. (Google it!)
You must also be careful with pulling your dreads apart, because it can cause small wounds on your scalp which can increase itchiness.

It"s good to take care of your nutrition. Eat lots of vitamins (especially vitamin B, which is good for your hair, skin and also nails) and Omega 3 fatty acids (you can get them with fish, chia seed, etc.). I also drink a lot of green tea, which is believed to be beneficial for you hair too.

My remedy:
* 1 table spoon of olive oil - massage it into your scalp gently and leave it on during the night. (You can cover your hair with socks, to protect your pillow)

* In the morning cook some green tea (leave it to cool down), add some lemon juice, few drops of tea tree oil (3-4 drops) and a table spoon of apple cider vinegar - mix it up!
Pour this mixture into a big enough bowl to put your hair in and leave it to work for a few minutes. In meantime you can gently massage your scalp, so that the mixture reaches all critical areas.

Wash it of with a natural/no residue shampoo of your choice and cold water to calm your scalp.

Have a wonderful time!
Love & Light.
